The chalet exceeded expectations. It was comfortable and perfectly set out for 2 families and the description on the website was extremely accurate. It boasts one of the best views in the region. The “bonne surprise” were Colin and Sam who were both extremely accommodating, yet discrete at the same time.  The food was some of the best we have tasted for a while and the portions were generous.

This was my first skiing holiday, and now I'm a convert. Chalet Le Sabot was perfect for a first-timer like me - always warm and cozy, really helpful hosts who went out of their way to help me sort out lessons and equipment hire, - and so close to the slopes I could practically crawl back with my various bumps and bruises! I would recommend it wholeheartedly as a relaxing base to enjoy great views, great facilities and great mulled wine!

Facilities - Very good indeed. Excellent boot room, the rest of the house was neat, clean and comfortable. A great fire every evening. Enough toilets , showers, and living space not to feel cramped.
Food and hospitality - Excellent. Colin and Sam were superb hosts, polite, helpful and discrete. Every meal was cooked and presented perfectly.
Ski suitability' - Excellent. Literally a 2min walk to the lift .
Local amenities - Excellent.
Transfer - Easy.

Just a quick note to let you know how much we all thoroughly enjoyed last week in Chalet le Sabot. The skiing was excellent and the weather was very sunny for all but one day. Colin and Sam were terrific hosts and you were right about the food - delicious.

I just wanted to let you know that we all had a great week last week at the chalet. I just about survived the Tunnel run...! Colin and Sam are excellent hosts, the standard of the food was fantastic and they really could not do enough for us. I think the quality of the food and chalet really differentiates it from an outfit such as Ski Miquel for example.

Nous sommes absolument enchantés de notre séjour de ski à Oz-en-Oisans. Nous avons tout d’abord découvert une charmante petite station, tranquille, préservée et à taille humaine et pourtant accessible à un immense domaine skiable. Nous avons également profité du chalet Le sabot avec nos 3 jeunes enfants, bénéficiant de chambres spacieuses et élégantes avec vue sur les sommets environnants. Tout cela assorti d’un confort sobre mais luxueux dans une ambiance détendue, sous l’œil attentif de Colin et Samantha qui veillent avec discrétion et gentillesse au bien-être de leurs hôtes.
Les repas étaient un réel moment de convivialité et de plaisir gustatif, avec une vraie cuisine faite maison composée de produits frais et de qualité. On est vraiment contents de nos vacances mais surtout ne le répétez à personne parce qu’on aimerais bien revenir !

This is definitely the best accommodation I’ve stayed in, just a stones throw from the lift with stunning views across the valley. The chalet is beautifully finished and has everything you could wish for and was always warm and welcoming after a long days skiing with home made tea and cakes and a friendly smile. The staff (Sam and Colin) made us feel very welcome with nothing being too much trouble and probably the most outstanding thing of all was the wonderful food they served us – Superb!
