The Resort

Oz en Oisans is one of the five resorts on the Massif des Grandes Rousses which includes both Alpe d'Huez and Vaujany and offers a vast array of both exhilarating and peaceful activities.

Oz en Oisans combines 10 hamlets and a mountain resort in a harmonious setting with high quality facilities you would only expect to find in a much larger resort. Oz has 2 bubble lifts that connect directly into the main areas. From Chalet Le Sabot you can be at 2800m in less than 20 minutes and at Pic Blanc (3300m) in another 10. These operate both during the summer and winter.

Oz is well serviced by public transport, there is a regular bus service year round. Taxis also operate in the area. We can advise you on timetables, costs and organise booking for you.

However you spend your time you can always enjoy returning to Chalet Le Sabot to relax, perhaps in a deck chair on the balcony- which offers spectacular views over the mountains and valley.
