The summer

Nestled comfortably in the picturesque mountain village of Oz en Oisans Chalet Le Sabot offers spectacular views and is ideally located for your summer vacation whether it be action or relaxation you seek. Oz is one of the five resorts on the Massif des Grandes Rousses offering a vast array of both exhilarating and peaceful activities.

During the summer these include:
Mountain biking (ride and descent), cycling and bicycle touring, horse riding, mountain climbing and via ferrata, hiking and walking, golf, tennis, swimming- indoors and in the fresh mountain air, kayaking, canyoning, paragliding, rafting and a number of other water sports based nearby which can be accessed by a free shuttle bus. Fishing, cinema, sauna, or indulge in balneo therapy.

The local area hosts a variety of international sporting events including one of the most famous stages of the Tour de France and the EDF Alpe d’Huez Triathlon. Oz is a very popular resort to stay for both spectators and participants of such events as it is remarkably peaceful yet convenient for the action.

However you spend your time you can always look forward to returning to Chalet Le Sabot for a BBQ on the balcony or simply to relax in a deck chair on the balcony- which offers spectacular views over the mountains and valley.

Chalet Le Sabot is let on a self- catering basis over the summer and with it’s well equipped, open plan kitchen and dining area cooking becomes an enjoyable sociable event.
