The Summer

Chalet Le Sabot is let on a self-catering basis over the summer so each party can enjoy their stay exclusively. With it's well equipped, open plan kitchen and dining area cooking is an enjoyable sociable event. Our staff ensure the chalet is ready for your arrival including making up your bedsand providing some useful information. There is secure, easily accessed storage space for those bringing equipment such as bikes, kayaks or climbing gear to help keep the chalet clear, clean and cool.

Chalet Le Sabot is nestled comfortably in the picturesque mountain village of Oz en Oisans and offers spectacular views over the surrounding area. It is ideally located for your summer vacation whether it be action or relaxation you seek as Oz is one of the five resorts on the Massif des Grandes Rousses offering a vast array of both exhilarating and peaceful activities.

During the summer these include: Mountain biking (ride and descent), cycling and bicycle touring, horse riding, mountain climbing and via ferrata, hiking and walking, golf, tennis, swimming - indoors and in the fresh mountain air, kayaking, canyoning, paragliding, rafting and a number of other water sports based nearby which can be accessed by a free shuttle bus. Fishing, cinema, sauna, or indulge in balneo therapy.

The local area hosts a variety of international sporting events including one of the most famous stages of the Tour de France plus the EDF Alpe d'Huez Triathlon. Oz is a very popular resort to stay for both spectators and participants of such events as it is remarkably peaceful yet convenient for the action. However you spend your time you can always enjoy returning to Chalet Le Sabot to relax, perhaps in a deck chair on the balcony which offers stunning views over the mountains and valley.
